So I know I have been talking forever about getting the blog up but things have been so busy (thankfully:) But it is finally here! I am so excited to finally have a blog. A lot of people have asked why get a blog when you already have a professional site for your photography and thats a good question so I’ll start by answering that in this first blog. There are actually a lot of reasons so I will just list them:
1. I can post full slideshows and more photos from my shoots (on facebook I only post a “sneak peek” or “teaser” album and on the website, which I am awful at updating but have tried to add some more photos lately, again I only put some from each shoot up.
2. I get to post a little story behind each photo shoot, whether it be a bride and groom, senior or newborn session.
3. I can pass on information, pictures, and posts about my favorite wedding vendors such as Fantasy Cupcake.
4. You can view the photos on the blog from an ipad or iphone (since they don’t enable flash and most photography websites are flash this has cause quite a problem for photographers but a professional photography blog is a great solution!)
5. I can post about popular wedding trends/photos so brides can get ideas from here. Since I love everything about weddings I am always coming across new things I would love to be able to share.
6. I love to hear feedback from others so feel free to leave a comment!!
7. Last but not least since this is my blog I can say whatever I want…scary I know lol… but I also intend on having some posts without photos but a little more about what God is doing in my life, how much I love my puppy and husband, and some camera/photoshop posts, etc so hopefully I don’t bore anyone. I hope to be able to use this blog encourage and help others as well like some of the blogs I follow have done for me.
To test out my first photos on here I am going to start with my beautiful sister…..whenever she is home I try to get some shots of her. She is a nurse for children with cancer and other autoimmune/genetic problems and if she wasn’t so amazing at what she does I would say she should be a professional model:)
